Ho deciso di non usare decorazioni rosse ma solo questo pallete di colori: bianco, verde e marrone e quindi lana e legno sono perfette.
Le decorazioni le ho comprate o fatte a mano nei mesi scorsi:
- Balls from Riccicasa
- Handmade Wool Balls
- Wooden Pins
- Crochet Stars by Jelly Wares
- White Candels
- Birdhouses from John Lewis, essendo la mia ultima mania, non potevano mancare!
- Cookies, recipe by Bakeat350, sotto vi ho tradotto la ricetta.
- my Olivia's Boots
- loads of Pinecones raccolte quest'estate al mare.
Ecco i link qui sotto:

Biscotti da Decorare - ITALIANO
This years our xmas tree is already up in our living room, brighting and smelling! Loads of new decorations are on and NO RED at all.
Here expecially you can find the recipe for cookies for decoration I used, it's by bake at 350 , my mentor!!!
Do you like my Xmas tree?
I wanted to try immediatly and I have to admit that the recipe is brilliant, perfect, very accurate. It's really easy peasy to bake these rolls, they're even simple to make!
Here the fantastic recipe: Delicious Dinner Rolls.
- Hat with flower: hat pattern available for free here; for the flower click here;

And eventually I managed to put together some pics of Giulio's first birthday party. The theme is elefant with red ballon, totally inspired by Dulce Sobremesa.I made wall decorations, table decorations and the cake and decorated biscuits! Yes I DID MAKE the sugar cake and biscuits, honestly I thought it was ore difficult but it wasn't, probably also because the decorations werent' very hard to make.
I decided to decorated our home with traditional xmas colour: white, red and green so Giulio can surely get the real touch of Christmas. He loves to play with my tree!!!!
So I sewed some red hearts, crocheted some white stars (click for getting the pattern) and bought other decoration such as wooden and fabric ornaments. My mum gave me also some white candels to hang on the tree, they look very nice there, very good idea mum!
and also I bought the Santa clothes for Giulio, he looks so sweet in those, doesn't he?!!Pin It
TORTA CIOCCOLATINO "Clio"
200 cioccolato fondente
2 cucchiai farina
Mescola tuorli con zucchero molto bene poi aggiungere farina. A parte sciogliere il burro e il cioccolato. In una ciotola montare gli albumi a neve lasciandoli un pochino di liquido e metti un pizzico di sale. Mescolare i 3 composti e inforna 30/35 min a 200°.
Eventually I had Giulio's baby shower just in time, I mean, he was born 3 weeks in advance so just 5 days after his shower. I enjoyed so much arranging everything and also the party was really cute and was so nice to meet so many good girlfriends of mine. It was a really good laugh afternoon.
As promise but a bit late I'm here with a new post. Sorry for my lack but I'm currently very busy with my new job: brand new mum!
I think now I can come back and post more often than the last month.
Here on the left you can see the gift I made for my husband: photos album (from Papercase, £2) with an handmade fabric cover. I add an "L" on one of them such as L of London and on the other I add just an heart. These 2 albums host loads of pics of us during last amazing and sparkling 2010.
The gift was really appreciate!
I'll be back soon with more news.
Here we go with some new download by Mulino Bianco, a very delicious biscuit Italian company ! This's a very sweet idea: you can download printables to make these cute decorations for your Xmas tree or others.

Have a lovely Xmas
I just found on HOW ABOUT ORANGE blog this very useful post: free printable holiday labels, perfect for this season! You can find a selection of really nice printable gift tags. The holidays were fast approaching make sure you are ready!!
Enjoy packing your Xmas present,
- white paper sheets
- paper tape
- few metres of strip
- loads of fantasy, inspiration and creativity!
- some scrapbooking ideas
- 24 number
I made 24 little envelopes using normal white papers just cutting in 3 strips an A4 paper. I folded up every strip in two and I fixed both sides with paper tape leaving opened the top.
I pasted on each bag one number and then ... I used my creativity! Each front of those bags are different, I added hearts, bunting, just paper tape, some cute designs, more.
When I got all my bag totally dressed up t I hanged them to a string and, here we go, I pinned them up the wall. What is there inside these bags? I wrote short letters or just some quotes I love and I also added candies.
Doesn't it sound very easy and cheap? Have a look at the photos above.
sorry if I've been no posting but I moved to Italy and I'm really busy to sort out everuthing for the born of my little one. I'm having good time here in my home town, I had the baby shower too and it was really cute and it was really nice to organize evrything. I'll post soon some pics of it.

I just bumped into this gorgeous website: JOLIE PETITE CHOSE. They sell a little pieces and mobiles that add for sure a cute and cozy touch at your baby nursery.
This lovingly hand crafted nursery mobile features 5 distinctive elephants with each in its own individual colour and pattern.
This mobile is designed with the elephant trunks pointing up to bring good luck!
All of them are handmade in Jodie’s Melbourne studio and every use fabbric is soft and unique and all patterns are so sweet. You can choose among elephants, owls, tree, birds and more.
When someone asked about the inspiration behind her collection Jodie replied… “My inspiration was to give my lovely little daughter something special made by me to cherish and remember as a part of her life as a baby/infant. Hopefully she will pass the things I make for her on to her own little one someday”…. A lovely reflection that truly sums up the essence of the handmade children’s industry.
They would make the perfect gift for any new arrival.
